Saniger

The hamlet the surname came from — on the king's highway from Longbridge by the mid-13th century, «Swonhunger ats Saniger» in Smyth's survey of about 1639, and Saniger Farm when Cooke wrote in 1882. THE POINT IS BERKELEY: the hamlet lies inside that parish and has no coordinate of its own. Wanswell and Hinton, its neighbours, are on the same point and are not shown separately for that reason.
